Another Achievement! (Kind of weird, though…)

So I get this notification today:

That’s a LOT of likes. Thank you, guys! (But the number is strange…where’s the 1,000? I got an award at 1,337??

Doesn’t that seem like a strange number to you?

Just asking…

I’m still grateful as heck. (Not going to say H-E-double hockey sticks…don’t want to offend πŸ˜‰) I’m so proud of my little blog that never gets updated…because school is slowing me down, lol. I can’t wait for Winter Break and all the reading I’ll be doing! Or Thanksgiving! I’m going to go crazy during Thanksgiving. So many books (and tags), so little time.

Btw, please keep tagging me. I love it. I’m going to try to do a tag a week. It really means a lot to me that you guys think of me, and it means the world to me to make sure I do them. I just have been laser-focused on getting these books back to the library. And I’m wanting to get my Netgalley totals down so I can request again! (As I said, so many books, so little time).

I should be writing a paper for my Literature of War class. But I’m here. Celebrating with you. Cause I love you guys. Every last one of you.

Thank you so much for reading my blog, taking the time to comment and fangirl with me, and for responding to my comments on your blogs. I have it set up so that every time you post, I get an email. I have over 400 emails, and I’m a bit behind because for every one I read, two more posts come up. But I read them. All. So I’m about a week behind on your posts, and I apologize. But I do read them all. Because you take the time to read mind.

So thank you so much. Love you, my blogging buddies. 😘

Happy Reading.

P.S. Here is my updated trading card from the #Readthemallthon. Told you I was going to keep going. Here it is:

I still have two badges left (one is gray because the badge itself is gray). So it’s the two in the middle. And I’m going to complete it. Thanks again to Aimal for making my badge so beautiful. I’m going to get too sappy if I keep going…I just, I just, I love you guys. So much. I wish I could meet every one of you in person.

      2. But then I’d have to eat around the shrub and I hate having to deal with hard pieces of wood stuck in my teeth.(yes, I went there). You can hang the cake in the shrubbery? Like a Christmas ornament?

        Liked by 1 person

      3. Hmm…yes, I think I can make that happen. Shipping is the only issue…how about I ship a naked man in the shrub, and he can pop out holding a cake? I was going to do it the other way around, but how weird would it be for him to pop out of a cake holding a shrub? That’s TOO weird…

    1. Well, happy belated six year blogoversary and happy early one year blogoversary!
I guess if they don’t let you know, I should mark it on my calendar! I started in July, so that makes it, what, January? Or do I count July, because I started mid-month, and then it would be December? Hmmm…I’ll have to check the date of my first post!

      1. Thanks, I didn’t really realise when my six month blogiversary passed by but I’ve been keeping an eye out for the approaching date that is my one year one!
I checked the date of my first post (November 17th) to get my year one, I guess for me that would have made my six month one May 17th. Oh well, that date is long gone now! πŸ™‚

    1. Hey. I’d rather trade and do the Book Bingo and Halloween stuff you guys are doing!
I’m still not done with it…and it ended, but I’m going to finish no matter how long it takes me, and it sucks that two of the books I need I don’t have checked out anymore,
But don’t worry: I didn’t know wth the number meant until the first commenter told me, so then I looked it up and found it.
Congrats on your achievement as well!

Haha, I think that Fall Bookish Bingo is going to take me a bit longer to finish..
I just love the badges and that lol.
Can you recheck the books out or read different ones for the task?
        Thank you πŸ™‚

Haha please do so I can laugh πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡
I haven’t borrowed a book in a couple of months now. I have way to many NetGalley / edelweiss books to get through 😫😫
I’ll send them to you to review for me?? Lol.

        I have Caraval and Heartless.
Australian Publishers are ahhmazing!!! I also got The Amateurs! I’m excited about that one.

That’s one good thing about AUS, I get approved for amazing books from the publishers… Props to Hachette AUS and Momentum Books lol

        No Roseblood though.

    2. You’re right: a lot of Aussies got Caraval and Heartless! But then again, you have to wait for the book to come out but you also get that pretty cover.
I am probably going to buy Heartless in 3 days when it comes out.
Did you request Roseblood and get denied too? I know we have both wanted to read it but I don’t remember if you got denied or not, or if you requested it at all…

Yeah Aussie publishers just seem to be nicer lol.
I’ll have to do my Edelweiss haul. I requested a few ages ago and got approved for them. EEEKKK!!!
At least you don’t have to wait long for Heartless, unlike Roseblood lol I got declined for Roseblood! Don’t even want to read it anymore lol. Not sure how neither of us managed to snag a copy with all the comps we entered lol .

    3. Well, and you saw how Donna reacted when she saw how badly I wanted a copy of her book…I, surprised Howard didn’t do the same kinda. But there’s another giveaway, so I’m trying my luck. Again. Sigh.
      Congrats on the Edelweiss approvals!

Yeah I know right!! Maybe we got annoying when we tagged her in all our tweets πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
My fingers, toes, eyes etc are all crossed for you again lol.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ so many emails!! It’s the worst!! I avoid giveaways like that now. I think I get about 100 different emails a day because of stupid giveaways.
I’m not sure how you haven’t won a copy yet with all the giveaways you have entered for it.
Maybe you should email the publishers personally? That might work.

    4. I thought about that…and I realized that it’s only another 2 months, and those will fly by. If it came out in March or April I probably would…but with Christmas and everything, I’ll have enough to keep me busy.
But I do wish I could just win a copy! I’ll keep trying until I can’t anymore, lol! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  2. The weird number from WP to you is because you’re special and you get to stand out from the crowd now πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€

Well done on being a super blogger!

I also get email notifications for new posts… it’s daunting at times but.. instead of morning cup of coffee and a newspaper I’m like 33 cups of coffee and a ton of emails/blogs to read! πŸ˜€ Hence, I’m late to work every morning, but never more than 15 minutes! πŸ˜€

    1. That’s the way to do it! And I know I never miss a post. I just wish I didn’t fall so behind, bc sometimes I am tempted to just erase them and start over again on the emails…I’ll read two and three more will spawn in their place!
And I am an awesome blogger! ::bows ridiculously::

      2. I was able to contain it for awhile…then 100 turned to 2, then 3, and finally just missing one day here or there turned into 563! I try to keep it under 500 (hah, next it’ll be 1,000, and I think if that happened i would just start over, tbh)…but I’m only a week behind your guys’ posts, and I am obsessive, so I like to check them all out…it’s pretty much why I don’t have time for memes or tags.
But I’d rather be active than just post every day. 😊

      1. YES!! ❀ I hope there won't be some sort of love triangle involved between the Captain, the first mate, and some potential di deck swabber, though. That would be such a disappointment!

Oh, my grandma kept her teeth on the dusty carpet under her chair. If you don't mind eating god knows what kind of things that have been scattered on the floor for god knows how long, it's a great way to keep track of your teeth! [insert GIF of the Fonz]. 1. I thought I was a smaller blog, lol!
All I do is stay true to my purpose and post book reviews and sales…maybe a tag or two (though not in awhile!)
My biggest commitment is that I read EVERY SINGLE FRIEND’S post…I get email alerts when they post, and though I’m behind, I consistently like or comment on their blogs. I think that’s really all it takes! If you care, your blogger friends care back!
      Thanks and good luck!! 😘
