My Awesome NetGalley Approvals!!

I’ve been meaning to share there with you guys, but with work and school I’ve been super busy…

I got approved for some major titles on a book reviewer’s favorite site, NetGalley!

These titles make me feel like I’ve finally made it in the book blogging community, as some of these are coming out from big publisher houses. I’m going to list the lastest ones first, then just show you my list of the books I have to review before I request more galleys (because the optimum feedback score is 80%, and I’m at 77%, so no more until I finish one or two…I want my ratio to stay high!

First…

• Ever The Hunted – Erin Summerhill – December 27, 2016 (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Children’s Book Group)

Beautiful cover! #coverlove! Many of these galleys have gorgeous covers! At least this galley came with it, unlike some of the others that came with a simple title page and broke my heart (ahem, I’m sure you guys know what I’m saying…)

Been wanting to request this ever since I knew Hocking was coming out with another book…then Jasmine told me it was on NetGalley, and I didn’t want to request too many books, but I couldn’t resist after the Wake books.

So those are the new three that I got approved for all at once, and I was psyched! But there are others, like my wishes that came true (remember those two? Or did I only tell you about one? Because I got another one fulfilled!)

My Granted “Wishes”

• Toward a Secret Sky – Heather MacLean – April 4, 2017 (Blink)

Honestly, this was pretty cool. This was the first time I knew that hitting the “Wish For” button actually did anything! And once again, just look at that beautiful cover. Actually, so far all the covers are super gorgeous.

• Unfolding – Jonathan Friesen – January 31, 2017 (Blink)

Jonah wishes he could get the girl, but he’s a monster and she’s the most perfect girl he knows.

And their futures seemed destined to fork apart: Jonah’s physical condition is debilitating, and epileptic seizures fill his life with frustration, keeping him tied to his parents. I honestly don’t remember wishing for this, but I noticed that both this and my other “wished for” book are both from the same publishing company, so that might have something to do with two wishes being fulfilled.

• The Bone Witch – Rin Chupeco – March 7, 2017 (SOURCEBOOKS Fire)

I read Omega by Ford and fell in love. I’ve had to put it down while I finish my overdue library books, but so far so good. I love her style and I’m excited to finish this book!
So I had to share: this is probably a very self-indulgent post. But I’ve been so excited and this isn’t really like a tag or meme (even The NetGalley Tag doesn’t work for this, so I guess it’s just an update…I can sulk all day about the one denial I got for Roseblood, or I can celebrate the things I did get approved for, which includes my Edelweiss galley for Fear The Drowning Deep. So I’m going to celebrate instead!!)
